From now through to the end of the year, IMN will be releasing several new reporting features that will give you unprecedented opportunities to use data for true Informative Marketing. You will now be able to bring readers deeper into your brand through the continual measurement of their viewing behaviors and information preferences. You can look beyond the simple metrics of open rates and click throughs and get highly sophisticated analysis and optimization information that will help you make intelligent decisions based on what’s most important to your customers and prospects.

Highly visual performance charts, improved user interfaces, deeper reporting statistics, and industry trend information are just a few of the capabilities that you will be experiencing with the new IMN reporting and analytics system. You now can:
  • Better understand your newsletter’s mailing performance with sophisticated charts that clearly illustrate the relative differences between various performance metrics.
  • Compare results across multiple mailings and issues, not only among your own newsletters, but also those within your industry.
  • Continually fine tune your campaign with trend data that shows you what works best in the delivery and content components of your program.
These new tools demonstrate IMN’s understanding of Informative Marketing and how you can unlock your data to obtain superior results. Here’s a quick summary of what you can start using today:
  • The Overview provides you with top-level information regarding most recent issue, with information on response, delivery statistics, performance by day, the top ten most popular articles, and performance trends for the last 10 issues.
  • The Snapshot provides data points in terms of actual values and specific statistics on everything you see in the Overview and includes an Executive Summary of your newsletter’s performance.
  • Besides looking at your own performance, you can now measure your program against others with the Industry Performance Comparison feature that can be overlaid on the Snapshot report.
  • With the Performance Trend capability, you can plot key metrics across multiple mailings and issues and compare performance over time. This allows you to spot trends that will help you intelligently plan future issues.
  • Finally, the new Performance Histogram shows all key metrics collected over time and helps you learn more about reader behavior. Using this data, you can make more informed decisions about your program, such as what is the best day to send your mailing.
